In the ET ENGINETEAM range you will find new main and connecting rod bearings. When bearings are damage or crankshaft seizure occurs, it is necessary to install new bearings and grind the crankshaft to the correct repair size. You can get the bearings from us in the original size (standard size) or in a repair kit with sizes +0.25 and +0.50mm.
There are many reasons why bearings can wear out. Problems usually do not lie with the bearings themselves.
The common problems and causes are:
- Too high temperature
- Excessive load on the edges
- Dirt
- Radius of the pin too large
- Fatigue of the bearing coating
- Corrosion of the bearings
- Insufficient lubrication
- Grooves after foreign bodies
- Incorrect alignment of the axle
